Gratitude, Kudos and Psuedos (in no particular order)

To Daniel McDevitt: for teaching me to rock climb the right way, and to not perish as a  bloodstain on the unforgiving Yosemite granite.

To Bruce Walter Brossman: What's all this brouhaha? You were the best boss I ever slaved under, and you and gave me untold, ample, opportunities to learn and to shine. .

To Robert Gene McMichael: for being my longest-running-partner-in-adventure-and crime. I am an only child, but you were the closest thing to a brother that I ever had.

To Timothy Duane Messick: for giving just the right amount of how to ski-well-in-style, instruction, and inspiration. "Fuck it, don't shit it".

To William Albert Russell: for quiping the question "Walleye, why do you coil your rope like a  ladybug?" to which I most indignantly shot back "Well, How do you coil your rope?" to which he instantaniously retorted in his inimatable way "Like a man, Walleye!"

To David Michael Schultz: You are The Man; the most capable, motivated, giddy-up-and-go badass I ever knew. How well I remember the years in Yosemite when you and Croft ruled the world. Those five days climbing the "Son of Heart" route on El Capitan with you, was perhaps, the greatest adventure of my life! Respect!

To Kenneth Elton Kesey: Thank you for welcoming this 18 year old, questing, hitchhiker into your home, answering my questions, and for a brief window during 2 summers, letting me be on the bus.

To Ansel Easton Adams and Stanley Kubrick for showing me what impeccable craft is.

To Kevin Douglas Fosburg: I am pleased we both have had to make our purchases from the gigantic shopping mall of life, and thus far, have avoided using the express checkout lane to pay for it all. Well done sir; well done, indeed.

To my parents Walter Robert Flint and Carol Ann Rudolph for giving me a good 9 year start in life, and keeping me alive till I could escape. We were all victims of our respective family trees.
